Sunday Folk Co – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Sunday Folk Co. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Sunday Folk Co specialises in creating personalised embroidered products, including custom pet bandanas and other embroidered products. All products are handmade and made to order.
2. Placing an Order
By placing an order, you confirm that:
* You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.
* All information you provide is accurate.
* You have carefully checked all personalisation details before submitting your order.
Orders cannot be guaranteed to be changed or cancelled once production has begun.
3. Personalisation
Please ensure all names, wording and other personalised information are entered exactly as you would like them embroidered.
Sunday Folk Co will embroider your order exactly as it is submitted at checkout.
This includes:
* Spelling
* Capital letters
* Punctuation
* Numbers
* Symbols (where possible)
We are not responsible for customer errors, including but not limited to:
* Misspelt names
* Incorrect wording
* Typing mistakes
* Incorrect capitalisation
* Incorrect dates
If the information entered during checkout is incorrect, any replacement or remake will be treated as a new order and charged accordingly.
4. Colours & Product Appearance
We do our best to display product colours as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting and the natural materials used.
As every item is handmade and embroidered individually, slight variations in stitching, positioning or finish may occur. These variations are part of the handmade nature of our products and are not considered faults.
5. Production Times
As all of our products are handmade and made to order, our standard production time is approximately 2–3 weeks from the date your order is confirmed.
This timeframe is an estimate only and may be extended during busy periods, seasonal demand, holidays or due to circumstances outside of our control.
If your order is likely to take significantly longer than expected, we will do our best to keep you informed.
If you require your order by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order. While we will always do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee delivery by a particular date unless agreed in writing prior to purchase.
6. Delivery
Once your order has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery passes to the courier.
Sunday Folk Co is not responsible for delays caused by:
* Postal services
* Couriers
* Customs (for international orders)
* Severe weather
* Circumstances outside of our control
Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery address provided is correct.
7. Returns & Replacements
Due to the personalised nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges where:
* The customer has entered incorrect personalisation.
* The customer changes their mind after ordering.
* The wrong size or colour was selected by the customer.
If we have made an error in producing your order for example, we embroidered different wording from that provided, supplied the wrong item, or your item arrives with a manufacturing fault please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
Where the mistake is confirmed to be ours, we will arrange a return and replacement at no additional cost. Once the incorrect product has been received we aim to ship the replacement within 2-3 weeks.
Photographs of the item may be requested before a replacement is approved.
For the avoidance of doubt, personalised products are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 unless they are faulty, damaged or incorrectly produced by Sunday Folk Co.
8. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photographs of:
* The item
* The packaging
* The delivery label (if applicable)
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate resolution.
9. Care Instructions
Customers should follow any care instructions supplied with their product.
Sunday Folk Co cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, ironing, general wear and tear or misuse of our products.
10. Pet Safety
The safety and wellbeing of your pet is your responsibility.
Sunday Folk Co bandanas and other pet accessories are intended as decorative accessories only and are not designed to be used as collars, leads, harnesses or restraint devices.
Customers should:
* Always supervise their pet while wearing any accessory.
* Ensure the product fits correctly and is not too tight or too loose.
* Remove the product if it becomes damaged, excessively worn or if your pet shows signs of discomfort.
* Never leave a pet unattended while wearing a bandana or accessory where there is a risk of it becoming caught on objects.
Sunday Folk Co accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage resulting from the misuse of our products or from failure to supervise a pet while wearing them.
11. Order Approval
Sunday Folk Co reserves the right to refuse, cancel or refund any order at our discretion before production begins.
This may include, but is not limited to, orders containing:
* Offensive, abusive or discriminatory language.
* Content that we believe is inappropriate or unlawful.
* Content that may infringe the intellectual property, copyright or trademark rights of another individual or organisation.
* Requests that cannot be embroidered to an acceptable standard.
If an order is cancelled before production has started, any payment received will be refunded in full.
12. Sizing Responsibility
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size when placing their order. Please refer to our sizing guide before purchasing.
As all personalised items are made specifically for each customer, we cannot accept returns or exchanges where an incorrect size has been ordered.
If you are unsure which size to choose before placing your order, please contact us and we will be happy to assist. While we are happy to offer guidance, the final size selection remains the customer’s responsibility.
13. Intellectual Property
All product designs, embroidery files, photographs, logos, branding, website content and social media content remain the property of Sunday Folk Co.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold or used without the prior written permission of Sunday Folk Co.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunday Folk Co shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our products.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any statutory rights available to consumers under UK law.
15. Privacy
Customer information is only used to process orders, communicate with customers and provide customer service. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
